Jenny Cameron

Jenny Cameron is a Credentialled Diabetic Educator who consults at the Golden Beach Medical Centre every Wednesday. She is available to help patients with the self management of their diabetes.

Jenny believes the more patients know about their diabetes and about self management the easier it is for them.

 

Wether someone is a newly diagnosed diabetic or has had diabetes for years, there is much that can be learnt.

There is a new initiative from Medicare for group education for those people with Type 2 Diabetes. Appointments for assessment for Diabetes Group Education are bulk billed and group education attracts a Medicare rebate. Your Allied Health Professionals who provide group education for people with Type 2 diabetes at GBMC are Jenny Cameron (Credentialled Diabetes Educator), Leanne Levin (Dietician) & Karen (Exercise Physiologist). Class size wil be a maximum of 12 people.
